With the Pfeil's other kids at school during the day after the holiday breaks, the Ukraine orphans are left to entertain themselves through video games and other means while Robert and Janelle work.

Tanya lifts up Rayden as the families prepare a dinner of pigs in blankets, hot dogs and pasta salad. Adoption is a two-way street, both the families and orphans need to say yes. Some of the orphans are more skeptical, having been through the process only to be told no.

Derrick and Michelle Mitchell say their goodbyes to Natalia from the other side of the security checkpoint. The next four week trip for Host Ukraine isn't until the Summer. Many of the families are committed to fully adopting the orphans before then, a process that takes an average of nine to 12 months and three trips to the Ukraine.
